Third grade is where a lot of learning happens and many enrichment activities are enjoyed. Students learn multiplication and division for the first time and cursive! Students learn strategies to enable each one to become a stronger more fluent reader. In the fall a law enforcement officer visits and they have an Oktoberfest and make pretzels. In the spring they make pies and have a cowboy and horse visit to culminate their weekly reading stories. The year goes by quickly and leaves each student with a wealth of knowledge and heart full of good memories.
